Abstract: Electrophilic aromatic imines synthesized by the condensation of aromatic amines with cinnamyl aldehyde were allowed to react with diethyl phosphite or triethyl phosphite as nucleophile in the presence of 10% molar fraction of phosphoric acid(Bronsted acid). The α-aminophosphonate derivatives were obtained through binary or single hydrogen bonding interaction of catalyst with nucleophiles and electrophiles in up to 79%~85% yields.
