Abstract: High-purity ultrafine powder of BaTiO3 was prepared by H2O2 oxidation hydrothermal combined method. H2O2 oxidation was performed at room temperature,hydrothermal-treatment at 140℃.When solution of titanium peroxide was mixed with excess of barium hydroxide solution and hydrothermally treated for 6h, single phase powder of BaTiO3 was obtained with average particle size 55nm and a narrow particle size distribution. From TiO42- solution TiO2·xH2O, anatase and rutile also could be obtained, but the crystals of TiO2 were less effective for BaTiO3 preparation. Anatase powder formed BaTiO3 by hydrothermal-treatment at 140℃ for 6h gave BaTiO3 of 0. 12μm size in average.
