Abstract: Poly(n-butyl acrylate)/styrene/acrylonitrile copolymer(ASA) was synthesized, and its structure-property relationship was studied. It was found that the rubber particle size can be controlled by using the seed emulsion polymerization technique. The impact strength of the ASA depends on its composition and rubber particle size. The optimum particle size is 0.135μm,and the optimum composition of the matrix is 28/72(AN/St).
