Abstract: Four kinds of fluorescent films of regenerated cellulose were prepared by mixingcellulose cuoxam solution and fluorescent powders including Y(PV)O4: Eu, BaMg2Al16O27:Eu,(Zn,Cd)S: Cu and Zn2SiO4 :Mn,respectively. The fluorescence spectra, fluores-cence intensity, degree of crystallinity and mechanical property of these films have been stud-ied.The resuIts showed that the peak of crystallinity of fluorescent powder remained unchanged when the film had 5wt% of fluorescent powder of Y(PV)O4: Eu,BaMg2Al16O27:Eu and(Cd,Zn)S:Cu under inradiation of ultraviolet light these films emitted strong red, blue, and yellow light with the fluorescence intensities being 81%,79%and 74%,respec-tively. However, film containing 5%Zn2SiO4:Mn only emitted slightly green light and thestructure of crystal of the fluorescent powder in the film was brocken and the degree of crys-tallinity and mechanical preperty of this film increased significantly.
