电催化间接氧化法制备活性二氧化锰

摘要: 电池工业目前使用的电解二氧化锰(EMD),是采用直接电解氧化法制得的[1]。由于产物紧附在阳极表面,需要剥离,无法连续生产,加上电解温度较高,电流密度偏低(0.01A·cm-2),生产效率不高,有待改进。

Abstract: An indirect. electro-oxidation method for the preparation of activated manganese dioxideis proposed based on the following electrocatalytic feactions: The process is carried out at room temperature with current density of ten to seventytimes as that used in the.commercial process.The product (ECMD) had discharge capacity11.5% more than that of EMD obtained by direct electrooxidation .The amount of combinedwater and the apparent surface area were 13.4% and 83.3 m2·g-1, but 3.9% and 52.2m2·g-1for EMD sample respectively. The ECMD obtained contained 4.2% silver oxide.
