EXTRACTION OF Fe(Ⅲ)FROM HYDROCHLORIC ACID SOLUTION WITH P538 AND P204

Abstract

Abstract: The mechanisms of extraction of Fe(Ⅲ) from hydrochloric acid solution with P538,P204 and their mixture were studied.The extraction equations under the experimental condi-tions could be as follows: with the apparent extraction constants lgK_A = 4.46±0.09, lgK_B = 3.44±0.08, lgK_AB = 5.47±0.10 respectively.The equimolar mixture of P538 and P204 showed a maximum synergistic effect on theextraction.
