Abstract: The process of ion formation of thirteen title compounds in EIMS has been studied byusing low and high resolution and B/E B2/E link scanning techniques.Discussion is focu-sed on the effects of substituents on abundances of molecular and fragment ions. The rela-tionship between lgZ/Zo and substitution constant σ is in good agreement with the Hammettfree energy equation lgZ/Zo = ρσ.
