Abstract:

A novel acylhydrazone bond polymer gel (BTH-BD Gel) is prepared by one-step polymerization through the crosslink between 1,3,5-benzenetricarbohydrazide (BTH) and 1,3-benzenedialdehyde (BD). The structure and morphology of the gel are characterized by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, solid state nuclear magnetic resonance and thermogravimetric analysis. The results indicate that the BTH-BD Gel material shows good physical and chemical properties. Thereafter, the BTH-BD Gel powder is used as sorbents for solid phase extraction coupled with common high performance liquid chromatography-diode array detector (HPLC-DAD), and a method for the determination of four nitrofurans in feed samples is established. The effects of adsorbent dosage, loading volume, elution solvent and elution volume on the recoveries are investigated by single factor experiments. Under the optimum experimental conditions, the wide linear range of furaltadone (FTD), nitrofurazone (NFZ), furantion (NFT) and furazolidone (FZD) from1.0 μg/L to 200 μg/L, the correlation coefficient (r) is greater than 0.9990, the detection limits of the method are calculated as 0.1~0.5 μg/L using the signal-to-noise ratio (S/N=3), and the limits of quantification (S/N=10) are 1.0~5.0 μg/L, respectively. The recoveries of three spiked concentrations (10, 50 and 100 μg/L) are 78.5%~96.8%, and the RSD is 2.1%~9.3%. This method exhibits several advantages such as simple pretreatment, good recoveries, low detection limit and high sensitivity, which could be used for sensitive and accurate analysis of nitrofurans drugs in feed samples.
