Adsorption of Cetyl Pyridine Chloride from Hydrochlric Acid Solution of Zinc Surface and Its Delayed Corrosion Inhibition

Abstract: The rate of zinc delayed corrosion and the role of cetyl pyridine chloride in the delayed corrosion inhibition of zinc in hydrochloric acid have been investigated by weight iossmethod.The experimental data have been treated with adsorption theory and Mathurmethod which leading to a rate equation, from which the kinetic parameters are calculated.The mechanism and relationship among temperature,concentration and delayed corrosion in-hibition have been discussed.
