Synthesis and Antibacterial Action of 1-Substituted Phenyl-4-Hydrocarbyl Thiosemicarbazides

Abstract

Abstract: In this paper,ten new 1-substituted phenyl-4-4hydrocarbyl thiosemicarbazideswere perpared.Their strticture was identified by elemental analysis,IR,¹H NMR and MS spectra.The preliminary biological activity studies indicate that all the compounds possessstrong bactericidal action and bacteriostasis against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus au- reus.
