SYNTHESIS OF SOME FERROCENE DERIVATIVES

Abstract

Abstract: Four novel ferrocene derivatives, C₅H₅FeC₅H₄COCH₂C(CH₃)=NNHCOC₆H₄OH, C₅H₅Fe-C₅H₄COCH₂C(CH₃)=NNHCOC₅H₄N, C₅H₅FeC₅H₄COCH₂C(CH₃)=NCH₂CH₂NH₂, and C₅H₅-FeC₅H₄COCH₂C(CH₃)=NNHCSNH₂, were synthesized through condensation reaction of fer-rocenoylacetone with salicyloylhydrazide, isonicotinylhydrazide, ethylenediamine and thiose-micarbazide respectively.The chemical constitutions and structures of the derivatives werecharacterized by elementalanalysis, IR, UV-Vis, ¹Hnmr and MS.
