Abstract: Adsorption of MoO42- on the neutral alumina has been carried out with the addition of anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS),cationic surfactant cetyl pyridine chloride (CPC) and non-ionic surfactant TW-20. It is found that the amount of the adsorbed MoO42-changed with pH value of the solution, and SDS, TW-20 decrease the adsorption, but CPC increases it.
