萘基反应型石墨烯分散剂及其在增强聚乙烯醇复合薄膜中的应用

Naphthalene-Based Reactive Dispersant and Its Application in Graphene-Reinforced Polyvinyl Alcohol Films

摘要:

石墨烯(GR)具有诸多优异的物理化学性质,是制备复合材料的一种理想纳米填料。 但GR易团聚、难分散,导致其难以与其他基体材料均匀复合。 为解决这一问题,本文以1,5-二氨基萘和3-缩水甘油丙氧基三甲氧基硅烷为原料,合成了一种具有高反应活性的新型分散剂。 在分散剂与GR质量比为1∶1时,GR在水中的最高分散质量浓度可达15 mg/mL,且在室温下可以稳定存在6个月以上。 分散剂分子含有硅羟基,具有高度的反应活性,可以使GR自交联成膜,得到均匀的GR涂层。 将所得GR分散液进一步与聚乙烯醇(PVA)复合,得到了PVA-GR复合薄膜。 与空白PVA膜相比,其力学性能显著提高。 当GR质量分数为2%时,复合膜的弹性模量增加高达52.8%,所制备的复合膜有望应用于高性能复合材料领域。

Abstract:

Graphene has many excellent physical and chemical properties, and it is an ideal nanofiller for the preparation of composite materials. However, graphene is easy to agglomerate and difficult to be dispersed, making it difficult to uniformly hybrid with other matrix materials. In order to solve this problem, a new dispersant with high reactivity using 1,5-diaminonaphthalene and 3-glycidylpropoxytrimethoxysilane as raw materials was prepared. When the mass ratio of dispersant to graphene is 1∶1, the maximum mass concentration of graphene in water can reach 15 mg/mL, and it can exist stably at room temperature for more than 6 months. The dispersant molecule contains multi silanol groups, which are highly reactive and can self-cross-link to form uniform graphene coating. The obtained graphene dispersion was further blended with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) to obtain a PVA-graphene composite film (PVA-GR). Compared with blank PVA film, its mechanical properties are significantly improved. When the graphene mass fraction is 2%, the elastic modulus of the composite film increases by up to 52.8%. The prepared composite film is expected to be used in the field of high-performance composite materials.
