摘要: 在三价镧系顺磁离子中,由于Eu3+的基态(7F0)的总量子数J为0,如按Hund公式μeff=g√(J(J+1))计算,其有效磁矩μeff=0,此结果与实验不符,表明,Hund公式不适用于Eu3+.

Abstract: Molar magnetic susceptibilities Xm of EuP5O14 were determined from liquid nitrogen to room temperature by Faraday's method. Xm of EuP5O14 were also calculated from the energy levels of the multiplets of Eu3+ in EuP5O14 obtained from its spectral data. Both values were consistent with each other quite well.
