THE COMPATIBILITY OF C1 IIR/PS GRAFTCOPOLYMER

Abstract

Abstract: The compatibility of chlorinated isobutylene-isoprene rubber/polystyrene graftcopolymer(ClIIR/PS) was studied by dynamic viscoelastic spectrum measurement, transmissionelectronic microscopy and inverse gas chromatography.The domain size and glass transla-tion temperature of the copolymer with various ratio of two components have been examined.Kaplan's conclusion was found to be an essential but not an abundant condition for Cl lIR/PS graftcopolymer.Copolymer with a single T_g was made up of 150Å domain.
