Abstract

Abstract: Eight title compounds were synthesized by condensation of substituted phenoxy acetyl chlorides and α-hydroxy alkyl phosphonates.Their structures were characterized by elemental analysis, IR,¹H NMR,³¹P NMR measurements and their herbicidal activities and plant growth regularing activities were tested.Some of them (I_b,I_c,I_d,I_h,and I_i) were found to exhibit a marked activity.
