INFLUENCE FACTORS OF Dy³⁺ ON THE LUMINESCENCE OF PHOSPHORS LnBO₃:Dy³⁺

Abstract

Abstract: The excitation and emission spectra of LnBO₃:Dy³⁺(Ln=La,Gd,Yb,Lu,Y,Sc)crystal powders were measured at room temperature.The dependence of the relative intensities of the 4^F_9/2→⁶H_15/2,13/2 fluorescent transitions of the Dy³⁺ ion in the LnBO₃:Dy³⁺ host lattice on the chemical composition,crystal structure of the phesphors,and the concentrations of Dy³⁺ has been discussed.
