Abstract: Perovskite quantum dots (QDs) have been widely researched in recent years because of their promising luminescent properties. However, due to its poor stability and toxicity, it still faces many obstacles in future production and applications. As an effective method to improve the luminescence output and reduce the toxicity of perovskite QDs, B-site doping has also been significantly developed. This paper introduces some vital methods for synthesizing B-site doped perovskite QDs which sprang up in recent years, and summarizes the doping mechanism of B-site doped perovskite QDs and its influence on the photoluminescence properties and stabilities. The development trends and the possibilities of practical applications of B-site doped all-inorganic perovskite QDs in the future are proposed finally.
