Abstract: The effects of the composition on the formation of 110K phase, electrical and magnc-tic properties of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system (2223) have been studied.Only few 110K phasewere found in the sample with nominal 2223 composition and its superconductivity wasvery poor.Appropriatoly change of the nominal composition was in favour of the forma-tion of 110K phase. The Tc of Bi2Sr1.8Ca2·2Cu3·2O, was 112K.

Key words: bismuth, barium, calcium, copper oxide, superconductor, phase composition
