Progress in Lithium Vanadyl Phosphate as Electrode Materials for Lithium Ion Batteries

Abstract: The structures and electrochemical performance of lithium vanadyl phosphate(α-LiVOPO4, β-LiVOPO4 and αⅠ-LiVOPO4) were presented. High temperature solid state, chemical reduction, sol-gel, solvothermal and ion exchange methods for the synthesis of LiVOPO4 were reviewed. The modification research status of LiVOPO4 was summarized in brief. Finally the prospect of application tendency was depicted.
