Abstract:

As a core foundational course for majors such as pharmacy and traditional Chinese medicine in traditional Chinese medicine colleges, the basic theories and methods involved in the organic chemistry course are the basis and premise for students to learn pharmacy-related professional courses, and it is crucial for students to acquire key abilities in drug molecule design and synthesis. However, the actual teaching effect is not ideal. Consequently, based on the investigation and analysis of the current learning situation of students in our school's organic chemistry course, taking the “structural characteristics-reaction mechanism-expanded application” of compounds as the main line, we effectively integrate online and offline mixed teaching, BOPPPS teaching, flipped classroom and other modes, and focus on guiding students to use organic chemistry knowledge to solve practical problems such as the extraction and separation of active ingredients in traditional Chinese medicine, design and synthesis, and structural optimization. We are aimed at constructing a goal-driven, medicine-oriented, and multi-evaluated mixed teaching mode and forming a progressive talent cultivation system of “basic knowledge-core content-expanded applications” to lay a solid foundation for the cultivation of new applied pharmaceutical talents with Chinese medicine sentiment and solid professional skills.
