苯乙烯的相转移催化溴-羟基化

摘要: β-苯乙醇是一个重要香料品种,工业上主要由苯乙烯溴-羟基化、环氧化、加氢而制得,其中关键一步是溴-羟基化反应,这是在油-水两相中进行的亲电加成反应[1,2]。本文根据前人的工作[1,2,3],在反应中加进了不同分子量的聚乙二醇,考察了它们对反应的影响,讨论了聚乙二醇的相转移催化行为。

Abstract: Polyethylene glycol(PEG)is used as a phase transfer catalyst in the bromo-hydroxylationof styrene.Experimental results showed that the yield of β-blomo-α-hydroxyethylbenzeneand the reaction rate are enhanced by addition of PEG into the system, and the effectincreased remarkably with the increasing amount of sulfuric acid. The maximum, yield ofβ-bromo-α-hydroxyethylbenzen is 92%. A possible mechanism is proposed.
