单组分室温硫化核辐射屏蔽用封堵材料及其性能

Single Component Room Temperature Vulcanized Sealing Material for Nuclear Radiation Protection

摘要:

以硅橡胶为基础胶制备了可室温硫化的单组分核辐射屏蔽用封堵材料。 通过硅橡胶与补强填料的选型(107硅橡胶粘度: 5×103 Pa·s,补强填料种类及质量: 50~70份纳米碳酸钙),得到粘度适于成型加工的混炼胶; 通过复配活性可调的1次螯合和2次螯合型钛酸酯催化剂调节材料室温硫化反应速度; 多角度利用偶联剂两相特性(KH550和KH560),改善无机填料/有机基体界面结合效果,解决高固体添加量材料性能劣化问题; 复配功能屏蔽剂(碳化硼和钨粉),赋予材料中子和γ射线混合场屏蔽功能(中子屏蔽率≥99.9%,γ射线衰减比≥2.78)。 该封堵材料综合力学性能好、屏蔽性能优异和施工工艺简单。

Abstract:

A single component room temperature vulcanized sealing material for nuclear radiation protection was prepared based on silicone rubber. Rubber compound suitable for processing was obtained by screening silicone rubber and reinforcing fillers. The vulcanization rate was regulated by combining titanate chelating agents with various catalytic activities. Coupling agents were used to improve the interfacial bonding between inorganic fillers and organic base. The shielding properties (neutron shielding rate: ≥99.9%, γ-ray attenuation ratio: ≥2.78) were provided by boron carbide and tungsten powers. The sealing material possesses good mechanical properties, excellent shielding functions, and simple operation process.
