Synthesis and Decarboxylation of Anthraquinone Dyes and Intermediates Containing Carboxymethylsulfonyl Group

Abstract

Abstract: Three anthraquinone dyes containing carboxymethylsulfonyl group and relative in-termediates were synthesized.Thermogravimetry was applied to determine the decarboxyla-tion temperatures of the dyes and intermediates.The results show that decarboxylation tem-peratures decreased when carboxymethylsulfonyl groups connected indirectly with benzenering.
