Abstract: The synergistic extraction of uranitim (Ⅵ) by a ternary system composed of 4, 4'-decanedioyl-bis-(1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone),trioctylphosphine oxide (TOPO) and pyridine was studied. The composition of the extracted compound in solution was determinedusing the slope method. The extracted solid termary complex was characterized by means ofelemental analysis,IR and 1H NMR preliminarily.

Key words: uranium(Ⅵ), ternary synergistic extraction, decanedioyl-bis-(phenyl-methyl-pyrazolone), trioctylphosphiiie oxide, pyridine
