Abstract: Four electrode method has beenused in measuring the specific electrical conductivityk of Na3AlF6-Al2O3-RE2O3 melt. It is found.that k is decreased with increasing thecontents of Al2O3 and RE2O3 in the melt and is increased with temperature. The apparentactiviation energy calculated is 18.84kJ/mol.The effect of the Al2O3 content on k is greaterthan that of the RE2O3 content.A mathematical model of the specific electrical conductivityof the melt is deduced with an accuracy of 95%.
