THE VAPOR-LIQUID-SOLID PHASE EQUILIBRIA OF MgSO4-C2H5OH-H2O SYSTEM

Abstract: The isothermal solubilities of MgSO4-C2H5OH-H2O ternary system at-5, 0,25,30.35 and 50℃ have been determined, the liquid-solid phase diagram has been drawn out andthe equilibrium vapor pressures have been determined by static pressure method at 25℃ and 30℃ respectively. According to Jaque′s pseudobinary model,the Wilson equation and NRTLequation have been tested to calculate the vapor-Jiquid equilibrium data of the system. Itis shown that NRTL equilibrium equation is more agreeable with the experimental values.
