Abstract:

Oxybutynin chloride enantiomers was separated with using the hydroxypropyl -β-cyclode -xtrin(HP-β-CD)as chiral selector by capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE), and the difference of enantioseparation ability between HP-β-CD and β-CD was compared. The best experimental conditions that hydrochloric oxybutynin enantiomers were separated by baseline were obtained by optimizing the main experimental conditions: such as water-soluble hydroxypropyl-β-cyclo -dextrin concentration, background buffer pH, capillary temperature, voltage and the amount of three hydroxymethyl-methane in phosphate background buffer, and so on. The method was reproducible, simple, quick, practical, and has good prospects.
