Abstract: Carboxylphenoxy phosphazene has a good prospect in biomaterial application because it has excellent bioactivity ,and is readily biodegradable and nontoxic. In this work, Hexa[p-(carboxyl)phenoxy] cyclotriphosphazene(HCPCP) was synthesized by two step. Firstly, the intermediate Hexa[p-(aldehyde)phenoxy] cyclotriphosphazene(HAPCP) was obtained via a nucleophilic substitution of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene with 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde.Then HCPCP was synthesized by potassium permanganate oxidation. Characterizations by infrared spectroscopy(IR), nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) and elemental analysis confirmed the molecular structure of the resulted macromolecule. Thermal Properties was researched by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimentry(DSC).
