Abstract: Cyclohexene has been oxidized to cyclohexanone catalytically by catalyst systemsof Pd(OAc)2/HQ with macrocyclic compounds:metallophthalocyanine(MPc,M=Fe,Cr,Co)and chlorometalloporphyrin(MTPPCI,M=Fe,Cr,Mn)in an acidic aqueous solution ofacetonitrile. The best results were obtained by using Pd(OAc)2/HQ/FePc system. The vieldof cyclohexanone was 84%with selectivity of 98%on 30min reaction. Some factors influenc-ing the activity of the catalyst have been examined.

Key words: cyclohexene, cyclohexanone, catalytic oxidation, palladium acetate, phthalocya-nine iron, hydroquinone
