Abstract: The crystal structure of silicalite-Ⅰ zeolite could be improved by acid and/or hydrothermal treatments. The adsorption selectivity as well as the separation factor for ethanol-water mixture were found to be increased by such a treatment.Especially, the silicalite-Ⅰobtained after successive acid and hydrothermal treatments filled polydimethylsiloxane rubber membranes showed a separation factor for ethanol-water mixture up to 30.
