Abstract

Abstract: Lanthanide complexes with bisbenzoylacetone ethylenedimine(L) have been synthesized for the first time. These compounds have the general formula Ln₂(L)₃(NO₃)₆·2H₂O, where Ln=La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy, Er, On the basis of UV, IR, H NMR, TG-DTA and also from molar conductance measurements the possible strueture of the complexes has been proposed.
