Abstract

Abstract: Solid state reaction between Cu(Ac)₂·H₂O and glycine has been investigated by XRDmethod.The reaction product was cis-[Cu(gly)₂)·H₂O and trans-[Cu(gly)₂]·H₂O dependingon the presence of solid alkali.Water, whether it is coordinated, in crystalline or as a mo-isture in alkali shows an obvious effect on the solid state reaction.
