Abstract: Based on the reaction of chromind(Ⅵ)with thiamine hydrochloride a simple, sensitivemethod,for. the fluorimetric deteamination of chromium is developed. The fluoresent specieshas an excitation and emission maxima at 405nm and 465nm respectively. The sensitivity ofthe determination of chromium is 1×10^-6mol/L. The method has been applied to determinechromium in wast water and cast iron satisfactorily.
