Abstract: The trimethylsilylcyelopentadienyl lanthanide dichlorides Cp 'LnCl2·nTHF (Cp' = trime-thylsilylcyclopentadienyl; Ln = Nd, Sm, Gd; n = 0, 1, 2) were synthesized and characterizedby elemental analyses, infrared spectra, nuclear magnetic resonance and thermal gravimetrytechniques.During the synthesis the dimer of trimethylsilylcyclopentadiene was appeared inthe solution.
