Abstract:

The fluorescence properties and mechanism of La(Ⅲ)-DBSAF-SDS fluorescent complex system are described. A method was developed for the microdetermination of La(Ⅲ) based on the fluorometric quenching effect of DBSAF-SDS.The results indicate that in the buffer solution of (CH2)6N4-HCl at pH5.4,the La(Ⅲ)-DBSAF-SDS fluorescent complex has maximum excitation at 520nm,and maximum emission at 560nm.The fluorescence intensity is proportional to the amount of La(Ⅲ) in the range of 1.6~800 μg/L. The detection limit for La (Ⅲ) is 0.12 μg/L.This method is applicable for the microdetermination of La(Ⅲ) in copper alloy with satisfactory results.
