Exploration and Implementation of the Integrated Production and Education Model in Chemical Engineering Majors at Applied Colleges and Universities——a Case Study of Xinhua College of Ningxia University

Abstract:

The integration of industry and education is a major measure to promote the effective connection between industry and education and achieve the organic combination of education and industry. The Chemical Engineering and Technology major of Xinhua College of Ningxia University, based on the development needs of Ningxia and its surrounding areas, timely adjusts the theoretical and practical teaching system in accordance with the changes in the talent market demand and students' employment. It has achieved remarkable results in professional infrastructure construction, the cultivation of students' engineering practice ability and innovation ability, school-enterprise cooperation, the construction of the teaching staff, and students' employment. It is constantly exploring and improving the new model of industry-education integration to cultivate innovative and applied talents urgently needed by the industry.
