Abstract: Thirty two triazole derivatives were synthesized. Among them twenty eight compoundsare first reported. The general formulae of the compounds are as follows: where X = H, Cl Y = H, CH₃, F, Cl, Br, NO₂ R¹ = C₆H₅, CH₃OC₆H₄, NO₂C₆H₄ R² = C₆H₅, ClC₆H₄, CH₃C₆H₄, NO₂C₆H₄, C₆H₅OCH₂,n = 0, 1 The structures of the compounds were confirmed by IR, ¹HNMR and elemental analyses.The compounds gave positive results in the preliminary biological evaluation. Some of themshowed inhibition effect on the rice germination and most of them had effective fungicidalactivity against Fusarium vasinfectum and Rhizoctinia solani.
