PREPARATION OF TiO2-Al2O3 BY IMPREGNATION WITH TiCl4-CCl4

摘要: 二氧化钛用作石油炼制的加氢脱硫(HDS)或加氢脱氮(HDN)催化剂载体具有高的活性[1,2],其缺点是比表面小,机械强度差。为克服这些缺点,近年来研究了用共胶法[3]、浸渍法[4,5]和交替成胶法[6]制备TiO2-Al2O3载体。本文报道了以TiCl4的CCl4溶液作浸渍液,制备单层覆盖型TiO2-Al2O3载体,并用多晶X光衍射(XRD)、X光光电子能谱(XPS)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)和选区电子衍射(HEED)等实验技术进行了表征。

Abstract: Catalyst carrier TiO2-Al2O3 was prepared through impregnating γ-Al2O3 with TiCl4-CCl4 (or TiCl4-CH3COCH3) solution, followed by calcination at 550℃ for 24 hrs.The seriessamples of TiO2-Al2O3 with different TiO2 loading have been characterized by XRD,XPS, TEM and HEED techniques. The maximum dispersion capacities for TiO2 on γ-Al2O3 were found by XRD and XPS to be 0.12g TiO2/g γ-Al2O3 and 0.11g TiO2/gγ-Al2O3respectively.It was also verified by, TEM and HEED techniques. The values indicate thatTiO2 is dispersed on the surface of γ-Al2O3 as a submonolayer and the monolayer coveragefor TiO2 on γ-Al2O3 was 60% as compared by a close packed monolayer model.
