聚氧化乙烯大单体与苯乙烯的接枝共聚物对某些有机反应的相转移催化效应

摘要: 以叔丁氧基钾为引发剂合成了由甲基丙烯酰基封端的聚氧化乙烯大单体,用VPO、GPC与UV进行了表征。其数均官能度接近0.90,分子量分布较窄(Mw/Mn<1.10)。将这类大单体与苯乙烯经自由基共聚,制备了接技共聚物。初步考察了这类接技共聚物对酚类化合物与环氧氯丙烷或β-溴乙苯反应时的相转移催化作用,发现产物收率随接技共聚物中氧化乙烯含量的增加而提高。

Abstract: Poly (ethylene oxide) (PEO) macromers with methacrylate end group were synthesizedby anionic polymerization in THF,using potassium tertiary butoxide as an initiator and werecharacterized by VPO,GPC and UV.The values of the number average functionality are around0.90.The graft copolymers of PEO macromer and styrene were prepared and characterized byGPC anb UV.The phase transfer catalysis of these graft copolymers in reactions of phenolor naphthol with epichlorohydrin or β-bromoethyl benzene has deen examined.The yieldsof the products increased with increasing the number of PEO side chains in the graft copo-lymers appreciably and gave rise to 48% and 63% for reaetions of phenol or naphtholwith epichlorohydrin, respectively and more than 60% for that of phenol with β-bromoethylbenzene.
