线形多羟基聚酯的制备及其簇聚诱导发光性能

Preparation and Luminescent Properties of Linear Multi-hydroxy Polyester

摘要: 非传统发光化合物是近年研究的热点,主要集中在超支化聚合物上,线形聚合物则研究较少。 线形聚合物结构简单、合成原料廉价易得,在此对一种线形多羟基聚酯化合物进行了设计合成。 首先,酮戊二酸与环氧氯丙烷开环酯化合成中间体,然后中间体脱除氯化氢成环反应与金属钠除水反应耦合循环制备单体,最后酮戊二酸与所合成单体再酯化缩聚生成目标聚酯化合物。 通过傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)、核磁共振氢谱(1H NMR)、凝胶渗透色谱(GPC)、紫外可见光谱(UV-Vis)、荧光光谱、透射电子显微镜(TEM)、动态光散射(DLS)和瞬态/稳态荧光光谱等测试手段对其结构进行了表征,探究了其光发射性质。 结果表明,所制备的聚酯化合物具有稳定、良好的发光性能,发光强度随聚合物溶液浓度的变化呈指数函数关系,其簇聚诱导发光效率因簇聚效应可获得显著增强,平均荧光寿命为5.28 ns,荧光量子产率10.7%。

Abstract: Recent studies on non-traditional luminescence compounds mainly focus on the hyperbranched polymers, while linear polymers are rarely investigated. As a linear polymer is simple in structure and the raw materials are cheap, a linear multi-hydroxy polyester, poly(glycerol ketoglutarate) (PGK), is designed and synthesized. First, ketoglutarate acid is esterified with epichlorohydrin to synthesize the intermediate; Second, two reactions coupling cycles, i.e. the synthesized intermediate generated closed loop by dehydrochloration and water is removed with sodium, are used to prepare the monomer; Finally, ketoglutarate acid is esterified again with the prepared monomer to produce the polymer. It was characterized through proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H NMR), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), gel permeation chromatography (GPC), ultraviolet visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), fluorescence spectrum, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), dynamic light scattering (DLS), transient/steady state fluorescence spectrum, et al. The results show that the polyester compounds have good and stable luminescence performance, and the luminescence intensity varies exponentially with concentrations of the polymer solution. Moreover, the induced luminescence efficiency could be significantly enhanced due to the clustering effect, showing good luminescence performance regulation behavior. The average fluorescence life and the fluorescence quantum yield is 5.28 ns and 10.7%, respectively.
