Abstract: We have studied the kinetics of interaction between ferric nucleotide coordination compounds and transferrin with spectrophotometry. Results showed that the exchange rate of ferric ion is Fe(Ⅲ)PYR>Fe(Ⅲ)ATP>Fe(Ⅲ)ADP>Fe(Ⅲ)AMP.The exchange reactions between Fe(Ⅲ)ATP,Fe(Ⅲ)ADP or Fe(Ⅲ)PYR and deferrization transferrin are second order reactions, but the reaction mechanism of Fe(Ⅲ) ATP and Fe(Ⅲ) PYR is different from that of Fe(Ⅲ)ADP.The exchange reaction of Fe(Ⅲ) AMP is a first order reaction.
