Synthesis of Highly Effective Floating Agent for Graphite

Abstract: A highly effective floating agent for graphite was synthesized with mixed hydrocarbons(by-products of petroleum) and some addendum agents.This floating agent increases the quality grade of floatation from 85% to 93% and recovery from 65% to 85%.Meanwhile,the relationship between the synthesized product and floatation efficiency was investigated.The structure of the product was determined by FTIR spectra.
