Abstract: The melting of sphcrulitcs of nylon 1010 formed in isothermal crystallization has been studied by hot stage polarizing microscopy. The melting temperature (Tm) of the ringed positive spherulitcs was 182℃; that of the non-ringed positive spherulites, the mixed nonringed spherulitcs, the darker and brighter non ringed negative sphcrulitcs, were 203℃,202~205℃, and 204~210℃, respectively. Thus, the equilibrium melting temperature was 215℃ by extrapolating.
