Abstract:

The experiment was conducted to investigate how to better preserve and apply 1-MCP. In this study, The inclusion complex of 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) and α-cyclodextrin (α-CD) was synthesized by inletting 1-MCP gas into the α-cyclodextrin saturated solution.Raman spectroscopyX-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Gas Chromatography/ Mass Spectrometry(GC-MS) and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer(NMR) analysis methods were used to verify the existence of 1-MCP/α-CD inclusion complex. A rapid determination method was proposed for measuring the content of the 1-MCP in the inclusion complexes, which was about 3.6wt%. Moreover, the formation mechanism of the inclusion complex was also discussed. And the inclusion ratio was suggested a 1:1 ratio of 1-MCP and α-CD complexation.
