Abstract:

The recent progress in the area of core colloids modified with noble metal nanoparticles is reviewed. The research on these composite materials are hot topic in area of material science due to their high stability, excellently catalytic and optical properties. Hence, developing simple strategy with high throughput for the preparation of these composites is very important for their further application.

Key words: noble metal nanoparticles, core colloids, core-shell composites
