Abstract:

Flaky hydrated strontium borate (SrB6O10•5H2O) was synthesized by liquid-phase precipitation method, using strontium chloride and ammonium hydrogen borate as raw material. The product was characterized by XRD,FT-IR and SEM. Kinetic study on the thermal decomposition was studied by thermal gravimetric analysis. The data of TG-DTA was analyzed by Coats-Redfern and Flynn-Wall-Ozawa(FWO)method. The four-stages dehydrate process and mechanism of thermal decomposition were established elementarily. The apparent activation energy and frequency fact were also acquired.
