Synthesis and Characterization of Polyamide Gd(Ⅲ) Complexes Containing L-Lysine Alkyl Esters in the Main Chain

Abstract: Macromolecular ligands were prepared by the condensation polymerization of diethylenetriaminepentaacetic dianhydride with long chain L lysine alkyl esters. The corresponding paramagnetic metal complexes were also prepared by the reaction of these ligands with GdCl3. The relaxivities of these metal complexes are higher than that of Gd(DTPA).
