Abstract: The tissues of strawberry, radish and tomato have been chosen as biocatalvtic materials, coupled with ammonia gas sensing electode to prepare three kinds of tissue sensor which can be used to determine L-glutamine. Their operational conditions and performance were studied systematically. The tissue sensors are easy to fabricate, low cost and have a lifetime of 4~6 days.

Key words: L-glutamine, tissue sensor
