Abstract: Three lanthanum solid complexes [LaL(NO3)2]NO3(L represents bis-Schiff bases obtainedfrom o-vanillin with ethylenediamine, o-phenylenediamine, and m-phenylenediamine)were synthesized.Their compositions,structures and properties were studied by elemental analyses,x-ray powder diffraction analyses, x-lay photoelectron spectra, infrared spectra, molar conductance,thermogravimetric(TG)and differential thermal analyses(DTA).
